Keshav Vinod
I’m Keshav Vinod, a journalist with a keen interest in geopolitics, international affairs and the stories that connect India to the wider world.
Born and raised in Dubai, my early years shaped my fascination with the Middle East and its complex geopolitical landscape. I later moved to the United States to pursue journalism, earning my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s in Journalism from Emerson College in Boston.
I began my journalism career in the United States, working in student newsrooms before joining Nexstar Media Group in Vermont as a Morning News Producer. Working in local television gave me a strong foundation in reporting, breaking news, broadcast production and the fast-paced demands of a newsroom.
I later moved to India and joined Republic Media Network, followed by Times Network, where I worked across television and digital news, covering breaking developments and producing news content for a national audience. Today, I am a Sub-Editor at The Hindu, where I edit and shape news for one of India’s most respected newspapers, with a focus on accuracy, clarity, context and compelling storytelling.
From Dubai to the United States and India, my journey has given me a distinctly international perspective on journalism. I’m particularly interested in stories that sit at the intersection of geopolitics, international affairs and India’s place in the world.

Following the approach of internalisation, I immerse myself into the nitty gritty of each story to deliver well-crafted and timely reports.

Compartmentalising a story and its multiple tenets allows me to navigate the way forward with clarity and focus.
With an innate flair for penning words on paper and a commitment to using simple and relatable language ensures that every story is packaged is clear and engaging for the reader.
